[12-17-2021] Harris County, TX – One Man Critically Injured in Pedestrian Accident Involving Semi-Truck on FM 1960

One unidentified man was injured in a pedestrian accident after being hit by a big rig in north Harris County on Friday early morning, December 17, 2021.

The crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of FM 1960 and the North Freeway.

According to Harris County investigators, the man dashed across the highway towards a westbound semi-truck, which the driver couldn’t stop in time.

Deputies stated that the man who was struck may be a suspect wanted for aggravated assault on a family member.
The pedestrian was in critical condition.

The truck driver remained at the scene and did not appear to be intoxicated.
