[08-16-2021] Bell County, TX – Pedestrian Killed After a Deadly Hit-and-Run Crash in Killeen

A 37-year-old woman identified as Yolanda Monique B. was killed after a fatal hit-and-run accident in Killeen early Monday morning, August 16.

The fatal accident occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the 4200 blocks of East Veterans Memorial Boulevard in Killeen. The female pedestrian was reportedly walking along the center turn lane when a westbound vehicle suddenly struck her.

The driver that struck the woman did not stop to render aid and drove away from the scene. Information about the driver’s identity and their vehicle has not been released. Unfortunately, the female pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the accident. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
