[10-27-2021] Tom Green County, TX – Elderly Bicyclist Injured After Accidental Crash in San Angelo

An unidentified elderly bicyclist was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday, October 27.

The accident happened on Wednesday morning near the intersection of North Bryant Boulevard and 29th Street.

The victim was headed west on 29th Street and failed to yield the right of way at a red light and was struck by oncoming traffic in the intersection, police said.

The elderly victim was then rushed to Shannon Hospital.

The nature of injuries and the identities of the people involved have yet to be revealed as the investigation is still underway by local authorities.
