[08-13-2021] Rusk County, TX – One Person Killed After a Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Carthage Highway

One unidentified person was killed after a deadly two-vehicle accident on Carthage Highway on Friday, August 13.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident took place in the 6000 block of US Highway 79 East (Carthage Highway).

Two unspecified vehicles collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the collision have not been established.
