A 28-year-old man identified as Christopher Lee L. was killed in a fatal traffic crash on Highway 87 on Friday morning, August 20.
The deadly collision transpired at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Highway 87 and east Farm to Market Road 41.
The 28-year-old man was riding a 1999 Yamaha motorcycle south on U.S. 87 when a Ford F-150 pickup truck suddenly struck him.
The pickup truck driver remained at the scene and willingly cooperated with local authorities. He was identified as 24-year-old Kenton Brandt R. He was uninjured in the mishap.
Unfortunately, the motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the accident.
