Four people were injured, including a toddler, after a major multi-vehicle traffic collision in San Antonio’s Northeast Side on Tuesday night, August 31st.
The accident happened at approximately 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of Walzem Road and Mesquite Farm Road. A Nissan sedan was reportedly traveling at high speeds and ran a red light before crashing into a pickup and another sedan.
Due to the severity of the impact, the pickup truck rolled over. Three occupants in the pickup, including a toddler, sustained minor injuries and were rushed to Northeast Baptist Hospital.
Meanwhile, an occupant inside the Nissan sedan sustained major injuries from the mishap and was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center. It’s unclear if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. The case is under further investigation.
