One person was injured after a major two-vehicle crash near Neches River Bridge on Tuesday morning, September 7.
The accident took place on Highway 190 at Dam B, just west of the Neches River Bridge, at approximately 8:00 p.m. For unclear reasons, a 2007 Dodge Ram pickup truck was disabled in the eastbound lanes when it was suddenly hit by an eastbound 2017 Dodge Ram pickup truck.
The circumstances leading up to the accident are currently unclear. The 2007 Dodge driver was reportedly standing beside his vehicle at the time of the accident. The 2007 Dodge driver was identified as 43-year-old Jose C.
He sustained major injuries in the mishap and was airlifted to Hermann Hospital in Houston. The accident is under further investigation. Authorities will determine the factors and the liability in the crash.
