An unidentified 89-year-old man was killed in a fatal multi-vehicle traffic collision in Sealy on Monday, September 20.
According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident took place on Interstate 10 in Sealy. Eight vehicles were involved in the collision.
One of the vehicles had a blowout and stopped in the middle of the roadway. Unfortunately, the disabled car then triggered a chain-reaction crash that involved eight vehicles, including an 18-wheeler.
Unfortunately, one of the drivers was killed in the mishap. His identity has not been disclosed. Meanwhile, three others sustained unspecified injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Information about the crash is limited at the moment. Local authorities are further investigating the major collision.
