An unidentified 41-year-old man was killed after a deadly pedestrian accident at Navarro and College streets on Monday night, September 27.
The deadly accident transpired at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the area of Navarro and College Streets. The unidentified man was struck by a passing vehicle under unclear circumstances. The driver reportedly stopped before speeding away again.
The vehicle that struck the man was described by witnesses as a “dark-colored or black Dodge Charger. Witnesses claim that the hit-and-run driver stopped after hitting the pedestrian but drove away again.
A description of the driver’s appearance and his identity is unavailable at the moment. Unfortunately, the unidentified man was killed in the mishap. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed.
Meanwhile, authorities in San Antonio are still looking for the driver that killed him. Local authorities are actively pursuing the whereabouts of the hit-and-run driver.
The suspect will most likely be apprehended and face hit-and-run charges after getting caught. The medical examiner was still working on notifying the victim’s family as of Tuesday morning.
