Mother of three on their way to church injured and two men died in a head-on crash Sunday, October 3.
The awful crash took place along Farm-to-Market Road 6, one mile west of Nevada Sunday morning. The drivers have been identified as 19-year-old Benjamin A. of Nevada, and 27-year-old Amanda W. of Wylie, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Both cars were driving down FM 6 when, for unspecified reasons, one of the cars veered into oncoming traffic and collided with the other vehicle. Andrus, who was driving a Nissan Altima, was killed instantly on the spot.
Willoughby died in the hospital after his Chevy Traverse caught on fire. The woman’s daughters, 7-year-old twins and a 4-year-old, were wounded in the accident and were being treated at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas on Monday.
Investigators of Texas Department of Public Safety are seeking to figure out if speed or alcohol were factors in a fatal head-on collision in rural Collin County on Sunday morning.
