[10-04-2021] Travis County, TX – One Person Gravely Injured After A Car Crash In Northwest Austin

A person is in critical condition after a crash in Northwest Austin Monday evening, October 4.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. on US 183 near 620 and SH 45.

Callers claimed a car had gone off the overpass and had fallen roughly a hundred feet, according to officials.

When Austin-Travis County EMS arrived, they discovered an adult hooked inside the vehicle that needed to be rescued.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
