An unidentified woman was hurt after a rollover crash in San Antonio on early Tuesday morning, October 5.
The accident took place on Interstate 35 near Eisenhower Road in San Antonio at approximately 4:30 a.m.
The woman was traveling on Interstate 35 when she reportedly fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed into the rear of an 18-wheeler.
Due to the severity of the impact, the women’s vehicle rolled over and caught fire. The female driver was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Information about the crash is limited at the moment. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.
Interstate 35 was closed down for a few hours to prepare for the cleanup and investigation but was eventually reopened. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
