An unidentified 32-year-old man was killed after a fatal motorcycle crash in Houston on Tuesday morning, October 12.
According to the initial reports from local authorities, the deadly accident took place in the 4800 block of McCarty Street at around 10:40 a.m. The unidentified man was riding a black Yamaha motorcycle heading northeast on the wrong side of the road at unsafe speeds.
A southwest red Toyota Camry then struck him. It’s unclear why the motorcycle rider was traveling in the wrong direction. The motorcycle rider was immediately transported to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the Toyota driver was uninjured in the mishap and remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities. The Toyota driver was not suspected to be under the influence at the time of the accident. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. The police are actively investigating the case.
