[10-18-2021] Travis County, TX – Injuries Reported After a Multi-Vehicle Crash at Schmidt Lane

Three people were injured after a major multi-vehicle collision near Manor on Monday night, October 18.

The major collision happened in the 15300 block of North FM 973 Road at approximately 7:51 p.m. Three vehicles were involved in the collision, including an 18-wheeler. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.

Three people were injured as a result of the mishap. One person was pinned in the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. The extricated party sustained severe injuries in the crash and was rushed via STAR Flight to an area hospital.

Two people were injured, and one was transported to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center in Austin. After being evaluated for minor injuries, the third patient refused to be transported. The case is currently under further investigation.
