[10-20-2021] Harris County, TX – Two People Killed in a Tragic Pedestrian Accident in South Houston

Two pedestrians were run over by a pickup truck in South Houston as a result of a fatal pedestrian accident on October 20, Wednesday.

The accident occurred around 8:50 p.m. in the 9000 block of South Main and 610 when a Dodge Ram struck the man and the woman as they were attempting to cross lanes.

The woman was identified as 49-year-old Jessica H., while the identity of the man has yet to be disclosed.

The two victims died on the scene while the pickup truck driver remained and cooperated with the police.

The driver also allowed the local authorities to take his pickup truck and other evidence to determine whether charges would be filed or not. The accident remains under investigation.
