One unidentified middle-aged man was run over and dragged by a dump truck in San Antonio on Monday, October 25.
The accident happened on a Monday morning on Fran Fran Street near South Zarzamora Street. According to the police, the victim was reportedly dragged about 30 feet, and his bicycle was lodged underneath the truck and the bicycle had to be removed manually.
The victim was unconscious and did not have any identification on him, authorities said. According to a witness who contacted 911, the victim also suffered an open head wound and injuries to his arms and legs.
The truck driver briefly stopped after the accident but immediately drove off after seeing the witness drive up. Further details about the truck driver have yet to be disclosed as local authorities are still investigating the accident.
