One 11-year-old boy was killed after getting struck by a vehicle in Fort Worth on Tuesday, October 26.
The accident happened while the boy was trying to cross Interstate 820 in Fort Worth on a Tuesday evening.
Preliminary reports show that the victim was with three other children who tried to cross at Camp Bowie Boulevard when the pedestrian accident happened.
Further reports show that one of the other children sustained minimal injuries. The driver that struck the child stopped and remained at the scene after the accident.
The identity of the child has yet to be disclosed after the next of kin is notified. The driver’s identity remains undisclosed as well. Local authorities are still investigating the accident.
