An unidentified 27-year-old man was killed in a collision between his motorcycle and an 18-wheeler on Interstate 30 in the downtown Dallas mixmaster on Friday, October 29.
The tragic accident happened around 2:30 a.m., and the victim’s body was found at westbound 30 and Akard Street.
Eastbound 30 was closed shortly afterward, and all vehicles were diverted to the northbound 35 exit ramp.
The medical examiner and hazmat both responded to the scene.
Local authorities are still gathering evidence and testimonies from witnesses to determine if the 18-wheeler or another vehicle struck the victim’s motorcycle.
