One unidentified motorcyclist was seriously injured after a two-vehicle accident in North Abilene on Wednesday, November 25, 2021.
The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. at Grape and Stamford Streets in north Abilene.
According to preliminary investigation, the car stopped at the stop sign on Stamford street and did not yield right of way to the motorcycle traveling south on Grape. The motorcycle then crashed into the car.
The motorcyclist was severely injured and was transported to Hendrick Hospital. The car driver was reportedly uninjured in the crash.
The identities of the motorcyclist and the car driver have yet to be disclosed.
The accident does not appear to have been caused by alcohol.
Local authorities are still investigating the accident.
