One 61-year-old pedestrian identified as Ronald Lee H. was killed in a pedestrian crash on Highway 6 on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
The fatal crash happened on a Wednesday evening in the 200 block of W. Highway 6 in Waco.
Initial reports reveal that a driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe flagged down a Waco Police patrol officer in the 200 block of W. Highway 6 in Waco to report of a possibility that they might have struck a pedestrian trying to cross the highway.
The American Medical Response was called to the scene, but the victim was declared deceased on the scene due to the severity of his injuries.
The driver of the Tahoe stayed and cooperated with the police. No charges have been filed against him as the crash is still under investigation.
