A 12-year-old child was injured in a pedestrian crash in Waco on Monday, December 6, 2021.
The accident happened on a Monday afternoon near the 10000 Block of Orchid Lane and Salam Way.
The driver that struck the child was headed west on Orchid Lane, and the 12-year-old victim was riding a bike south on Salam Way.
The 12-year-old was in critical condition and was immediately rushed to a hospital. The driver that struck the child stayed and cooperated with the authorities.
The accident remains under investigation.
