[12-11-2021] Harris County, TX – Hit-and-Run Crash Kills Bicyclist in North Houston

One unidentified man was killed after getting struck by a hit-and-run motorist in north Houston on early Saturday, December 11, 2021.

The hit-and-run accident happened at around 3:22 a.m. in the area of 8800 block of Ella Boulevard.

Local authorities discovered a man lying in a grass median when they arrived. He was pronounced dead on the spot.

According to initial reports, the man was riding his bike northbound on an inside lane when he was hit from behind by an unknown vehicle, which then fled the scene.

After landing in the middle of a northbound inside lane, another unknown vehicle struck his bicycle a short time later. At this time, the deceased’s identity remains unknown.

The accident remains under investigation.
