Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 on Wednesday night, December 15, 2021.
The fatal two-vehicle collision happened at around 12:50 a.m. on IH-35.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Justice of the Peace Pete Peterson pronounced both drivers dead at the scene in the two-vehicle accident.
Officials stated that 72-year-old Willie David J. of Bryan was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of IH-35 near mile marker 326 in Lorena when the two vehicles collided head-on.
The 72-year-old driver’s vehicle collided with 20-year-old Warren James H. of Round Rock, who was driving a 2014 GMC Sierra pickup.
Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
