Two people were killed, and two more were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on the North Freeway on early Sunday, December 19, 2021.
The crash occurred around 12:34 a.m. in the area of the northbound lanes of I-45 near the 1-10 interchange.
A black Dodge Charger was driving southbound on the northbound lanes of I-45 near the I-10 interchange when it collided with a gray Kia Soul and another black-colored vehicle, according to police.
When paramedics arrived on the scene, they were able to free the wrong-way driver. With minor injuries, he was taken to a local hospital.
A male driver in a second vehicle was injured in the crash, according to police.
According to police, a man and a woman who were inside a third vehicle at the time of the crash died at the scene.
The identities of the people involved have yet to be disclosed.
It’s still unclear whether the wrong-way driver will face charges.
