An unidentified wrong-way driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash along Loop 375 in the Lower Valley on Wednesday night, December 15, 2021.
The head-on collision occurred around 8:00 p.m. on Loop 375 East near Yarbrough.
According to investigators on the scene, the wrong-way vehicle was traveling westbound on the eastbound lanes of Loop 375 when it crashed with the FedEx truck, according to investigators on the scene.
According to police, the fatal crash forced the closure of Loop 375 eastbound from Midway to Yarbrough.
The crash remains under investigation.
