[12-27-2021] Bowie County, TX – 43-Year-Old Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident in Texarkana

A pedestrian identified as 43-year-old Spencer H. was struck by a vehicle crossing North Stateline Avenue on Monday night, December 27, 2021.

The pedestrian accident transpired at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the area of 5300 block of North Stateline Avenue near the Waffle House, according to Texarkana police.

The victim was struck by a southbound car while walking back to his truck after dinner, according to police.

He was taken to the hospital with head trauma and broken ribs, but he is expected to survive. There have been no citations issued.

Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
