[12-30-2021] Wichita County, TX – One Person Injured in DUI Accident at Old Iowa Park Road and Covington Street

One unidentified person was injured following a DUI crash in Wichita Falls on Thursday, December 30, 2021.

According to Wichita Falls Police Department Sgt. Charlie E., the DUI accident happened on a Thursday morning at Old Iowa Park Road and Covington Street.

Police reports revealed that the crash involved a truck and a Kia.

The truck driver was identified as 17-year-old Hunter W.

The truck driver was reportedly found walking away from the accident scene by police.

Before the 17-year-old was arrested for DWI, he was taken to the hospital.

Following the collision, the occupants of Kia were trapped inside the vehicle. A woman was reportedly injured, and at least one person was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
