One person was killed in a motorcycle crash just north of the Longview city limits on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
The collision happened on a Tuesday on US 259 near Tyron Road.
The accident also involved a Jeep whose driver escaped injury.
The Longview Fire Department and the Judson Metro Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.
Judge B.H. Jameson of Gregg County Pct. 1 pronounced the person driving the motorcycle dead on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
