At least one person was injured following a two-vehicle crash on US 183 on Friday, January 7, 2022.
According to reports, the collision occurred around 9:30 a.m. near Margo Drive in southeast Austin, at the 12000 block of southbound US 183.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, there were reports of a collision involving a vehicle and an 18-wheeler.
ATCEMS said one person was extracted from a vehicle and transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.
The Travis County Starflight had been dispatched to help, but the call was canceled.
The person was transported by ambulance on the ground.
Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
