[01-07-2022] Harris County, TX – One Person Injured in Pedestrian Accident Involving Truck at Cullen Boulevard

One unidentified person was injured after a major pedestrian accident involving two vehicles at Cullen Boulevard on Friday, January 7, 2022.

The collision occurred around 2 p.m. on the westbound lanes of the South Loop at Cullen Boulevard, according to Houston police.

The police said a red truck traveling westbound collided with a construction truck before striking a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was believed to be trapped beneath the red truck, according to police.

It’s unclear if the pedestrian is one of the vehicle’s drivers.

The pedestrian’s condition is unknown.

An investigation is currently underway.
