According to Longview police, a woman who was injured in a car accident in the area of Gilmer Road died as a result of her injuries on Friday, January 7, 2022.
The two-vehicle crash happened around 12:20 p.m. in the 2900 block of Gilmer Rd.
According to investigators, a Ford pickup truck was southbound on Gilmer Rd. when a Buick passenger vehicle entered the intersection of Gemi Dr. and Gilmer Rd. into the path of the truck. In the intersection, the vehicles collided.
Suzanne B. of Gilmer, the driver of the Buick passenger car, was taken to a local hospital and died from her injuries.
The Ford pickup truck’s driver received minor injuries.
