A 39-year-old Beaumont resident identified as Ryan F. was killed after being ejected from his car following a two-vehicle crash in Beaumont on Tuesday, January 11.
The collision occurred at 10:26 p.m. at the 300 block of E. Cardinal Drive.
According to a news release from the City of Beaumont, a Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling south on E. Cardinal when the driver made an unsafe lane change, causing the driver to collide with another vehicle.
The F-150 then lost control and veered off the road into the grassy median and service road.
The 39-year-old man was ejected from the F-150 and suffered serious injuries as a result.
The victim was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital by Beaumont EMS, where he was later pronounced dead.
The accident remains under investigation.
