One unidentified woman was hospitalized after two trailers caught fire in Beaumont on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
The fire occurred around 10:20 p.m. on the 1100 block of 11th Street, better known as the Circle Trailer Park.
After arriving on the scene, firefighters were able to quickly put out the fires.
According to Beaumont Fire and Rescue Chief Scott Wheat, one trailer caught fire and spread to a second.
The fire started in the first trailer, which was entirely destroyed. The second one sustained significant damage.
The fire affected at least four people.
Due to smoke inhalation, the woman was taken to the hospital. Her current state is unclear.
First responders are investigating the cause of two trailer home fires.
Wheat believes the incident was unintentional. The cause is being investigated by investigators.
Crews had shut the northbound lanes of 11th Street for a block as they put out the fire and secured the scene as of Tuesday night.
