One 22-year-old man identified as Patrick A. was killed in a head-on crash along Zaragoza Road in Lower Valley on Wednesday, January 19.
The fatal two-vehicle crash occurred around 8:12 a.m. on the 100 block of Zaragoza Road.
According to a preliminary inquiry, a 2010 black Nissan Frontier was seen traveling north on the 100 block of N. Zaragoza.
The investigation further revealed that the Nissan made a left turn as the 22-year-old’s 2013 gray Hyundai Elantra was going south.
The Elantra crashed with the back of the Nissan Frontier as the Nissan completed the turn.
The 22-year-old man lost control of the car and entered the northbound lanes, colliding with a 2003 GMC Yukon XL head-on.
The Hyundai Elantra driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he eventually succumbed to his injuries.
