A Border Patrol vehicle collided with an IDEA school bus in Brownsville on Friday, January 21, 2022.
According to Brownsville PD Investigator Martin Sandoval, the two-vehicle crash happened around 9:00 a.m. near the 2200 block of N. Expressway 77 Frontage.
There were no students on the bus at the time. Only minor injuries were reported, and none of them necessitated medical attention.
According to authorities, the accident was caused by regular traffic, and the weather was not a factor.
The crash remains under investigation.
