One person identified as 33-year-old Aaron G. was killed in a fatal crash in Andrews County on Friday, January 21, 2022.
The accident happened on a Friday on State Highway , about 14 miles from Andrews.
According to the initial investigation, the 33-year-old man was driving a 2016 Kenworth truck westbound on SH 115 when a piece of road debris was thrown up by a passing vehicle.
The debris shattered the windshield and struck the truck driver, causing him to veer off the road and into a fence.
He was taken to University Medical Center in Lubbock, where he was quickly pronounced dead.
The accident remains under investigation.
