Seven people trapped inside a burning home are expected to recover after being rescued by Fort Worth firefighters early Thursday morning, January 27, 2022.
According to the department, firefighters were dispatched to a house fire in the 2600 block of Rodeo Street and arrived three minutes later to find heavy fire at the front of the house.
Several people were trapped in the back of the house, unable to escape, according to a 911 operator.
Firefighters quickly searched the house from the outside and discovered a group of people trapped near the back.
According to the fire department, firefighters used tools to clear a path out of the house, and seven people were rescued.
Some of the trapped residents were injured, but it is believed that all of the injuries were minor.
