[02-09-2022] Tom Green County, TX – One 28-Year-Old Woman Severely Injured in Pedestrian Accident near Howard College

According to San Angelo Police and witness statements, a 28-year-old woman was walking on the sidewalk near Howard College and was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

The pedestrian accident happened on a Wednesday on U.S. Highway 67 near Howard College.

The woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after running onto Highway 277 Frontage Road.

The San Angelo Police Department warned the public that North U.S. Highway 67 near Howard College was currently closed due to the accident that took place on Wednesday.

The area had been closed for the next two hours, according to a Nixle alert sent by SAPD.

The accident remains under investigation.
