A fatal multi-vehicle crash shut down FM 1960 near Atascocita early Monday morning, May 16, 2022.
The fatal collision occurred at 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of FM 1960 and Belleau Wood Drive.
According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the major accident involved three vehicles.
According to the Atascocita Fire Department, one person was confirmed dead on the scene. A passenger in the same vehicle became stuck and needed to be rescued.
After the crash, at least two people were taken to the hospital. At this time, their condition is unknown.
The HCSO’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
