According to the police, a teen is in the hospital with serious injuries after crashing his motorcycle into an SUV on 28th Avenue Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
Authorities say the fatal collision occurred at around 7:30 p.m at south on Washington near its intersection with 28th Avenue.
A black SUV turned into Washington from 28th Street during this same period as the teen was riding his motorcycle south on Washington.
The teenager was left with injuries that the police deemed to be life-threatening after the motorcycle collided with the front of the SUV.
The victim was transported to the hospital after the incident.
When the collision occurred, witnesses told the police that the teen was traveling at a significantly higher speed than the permitted limit.
Investigation into the incident is still ongoing by the traffic investigators.
