According to The Taylor Police Department, a motorcycle crash killed a man on U.S. Highway 79 Thursday evening, May 26, 2022.
According to the Taylor police, the fatal collision transpired around 10:43 p.m. in the 12400 block of U.S. Highway 79.
According to the preliminary investigation, Joshua L., 43, lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown off it into the intersection of Highway 79 and County Road 101.
Lashley was struck by a pickup truck driven by Thomas M., 48, while in the intersection. Lashley was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
The crash’s cause is still being investigated.
