An adult and three children pedestrians were taken to the hospital after being hit by a car while trying to cross a busy street in Fort Worth Sunday night, June 5, 2022.
The collision occurred at around 5:40 p.m. along McCart Avenue near the intersection of Sycamore School Road.
According to Fort Worth Police, two vehicles collided, and one of the vehicles veered into the adult and child lane.
The adult was taken to Harris Methodist Hospital and is expected to be fine, according to Fort Worth police and MedStar.
The three children were sent to Cook Children’s Medical Center. One of them should be able to recover. The other two, according to police, are in critical condition.
After the scene had cleared late into the evening, a baby stroller could still be seen sitting in the median.
There has been no word on whether the drivers involved will face charges.
The crash will be investigated by the Fort Worth Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit.
