A kitchen fire ravaged a Texas City apartment complex leaving more than 20 families homeless on Sunday, January 30. Firefighters were dispatched around 4:20 p.m. to the 8600 block of the Emmett F Lowry Expressway after receiving reports of a kitchen fire at the Savan Villas Apartment.
