[01-03-2022] Harris County, TX – One Man Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident Outside NRG Park

An unidentified man was killed after being struck by a vehicle near NRG Park on Monday night, January 3, 2022.

According to preliminary reports, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred around 8:10 p.m. in the 14000 block of Main.

According to initial reports, a vehicle collided with a man for unknown reasons. The man died on the spot as a result of his injuries.

It is unknown at this time whether the vehicle involved stayed at the accident scene or not. While crews worked on the scene, several lanes were blocked.

Once the deceased’s next of kin has been notified, the identity of the deceased will be revealed.
There are no other details available.

The accident remains under investigation.
