[01-03-2022] Travis County, TX – One Person Critically Injured in Pedestrian Accident in East Austin

A vehicle collided with a pedestrian in east Austin, leaving one person seriously injured on Monday, January 3, 2022.

According to a tweet from Austin-Travis County EMS, the pedestrian accident occurred around 12:35 p.m. in the 1137-1149 block of Airport Boulevard.

One person was reported to be unconscious by the 9-1-1 caller.

According to paramedics, an adult was taken to Dell Seton with potentially serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials did not provide any additional information.

Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
