[01-05-2022] Tarrant County, TX – Man Dead in Fatal Pedestrian Accident After Getting Hit by Truck in East Fort Worth

According to authorities, one unidentified man was killed after getting struck by a truck on Loop 820 near Interstate 30 on Wednesday morning, January 5, 2022.

The pedestrian accident happened just before 7 a.m. on East Loop 820 near I-30 in east Fort Worth.

According to a police call log, a 911 caller reported that a man ran in front of a truck, and the pedestrian was hit by the vehicle.

Initial reports revealed that the vehicle was a black pickup truck.

Other details about the accident, such as why the man ran in front of the vehicle, have not been released by Fort Worth police.

Authorities have not released the name of the man who died.

The Fort Worth police are still investigating the fatal accident.
