[01-08-2022] Bexar County, TX – Fiery Two-Vehicle Crash Kills Two People on City’s North Side

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, two people were killed in a fiery two-vehicle crash on the city’s North Side on Saturday, January 8, 2022.

The collision occurred around 3:50 p.m. in the 23200 block of Bulverde Road in the southbound lanes.

The cause of the collision is unknown, but deputies say the collision caused both vehicles to burst into flames, trapping two people.

Both were declared dead on the spot.

Deputies were still directing traffic at the intersection of TPC Parkway and Bulverde Road around 6:15 p.m. as they worked the scene.

According to the BCSO, this section of Bulverde was closed for several hours.

Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
