According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, one 63-year-old man identified as Teddy H. was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Howard County on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
The fatal truck accident occurred at 11:24 a.m. Interstate 20, 11 miles east of Big Spring.
The driver of a 2017 Ford F-250 pickup truck allegedly lost control of his speed and collided with the back of a 2019 Freightliner truck tractor-trailer, according to police.
The 63-year-old man from Noble, Oklahoma, was the 2017 Ford F-250 pickup truck driver. He was killed instantly after colliding with the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Scott N., 62, of Statesville, North Carolina, was behind the wheel of the 2019 Freightliner truck tractor-trailer and was unharmed.
The crash remains under investigation.
