According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, an unidentified litter contractor who was crossing a highway in Crosby was killed after being struck by an 18-wheeler on Thursday, January 13, 2022.
The fatal pedestrian accident around noon on U.S. 90 eastbound at FM 2100.
According to deputies, the worker was pronounced dead at the scene, and the big rig driver stayed behind to speak with investigators.
All northbound lanes at FM 2100 are closed as crews process the area. The accident remains under investigation.
