[01-16-2022] Dallas County, TX – One Woman Dead, Another Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident in Northwest Dallas

According to the police, a woman was killed, and another woman was injured in a hit-and-run in northwest Dallas early Sunday, January 16, 2022.

The accident occurred about 3:30 a.m. at the 11500 block of Harry Hines Boulevard, near Royal Lane.

Two women were struck by a vehicle traveling north in the right lane, according to Dallas police.

First responders pronounced one of the women dead. The other woman was taken to the hospital, and her condition on Sunday morning was unknown.

The police stated that the driver of the vehicle did not stop to assist the victims. The vehicle’s description was unavailable.

There was no other information available.

Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
